Our story
Maxime Proulx graduated from the École de Joaillerie de Montréal in 2012. It was by following her passion for fashion and jewelry creation that she launched her Maksym line. Immersed since childhood in the world of fashion with an aunt and a mother who were seamstresses, Maxime has been exploring and making clothes, accessories, and jewelry she particularly loves from a very young age.
Jewelry creation by stringing was very present during her secondary school years with the organization of small events and sales in a few shops. It was by wanting to perfect her technique after college studies that she decided to enroll at the École de Joaillerie de Montréal.
Following this training, she continued her learning by working in the high jewelry field for 3 years with various experienced jewelers. She worked simultaneously while starting her business until 2015 when she left her job to devote herself to it full-time.
Her rapidly growing company now specializes in the manufacture of wedding rings, gold and sterling silver jewelry. It is with a small team of passionate jewelers that all the jewelry is handcrafted in the workshop located in the Hochelaga neighborhood.
